- Hi,
-
- Anyone know if watcom can produce code that is relocatable anywhere?
- I want to hack around with some bootsector stuff and just wondered if
- Watcom could do it (ok, assembler is best for this sort of thing but
- I was just curious if it was possible with Watcom).
-
- I know Watcom tends to produce huge files too, or at least relatively
- so, a simple single printf statement resulted in nearly 10Kb of code
- when I had a quick try at this the other day, which seems pretty
- ridiculous- any way of getting the code size down and getting rid of
- initial overheads? (Unfortunately I haven't got the whole of Watcom
- and my CD is elsewhere at the moment, should be getting hold of it
- again soon so I can take a proper look through everything)
-
- cheers, email replies would be best...
